Brian Kendrick On Losing AEW Spot, Is WWE Paying Big E?

Brian Kendrick was hours away from debuting on AEW when his past comments got him pulled. Also, is WWE paying Big E while out with injury?

Brian Kendrick On Losing AEW Spot

Brian Kendrick is a talented wrestler. Also, he is known to speak about conspiracy theories.

Well, WWE was able to ignore those comments as Kendrick worked for the promotion on two occasions.

Although, AEW is a different story. While on K & S WrestleFest, Kendrick discussed AEW pulling him from his match with Jon Moxley last minute.

“Talked with Tony Khan on the phone, they made me music, I had an entrance and everything was ready to go,” said Kendrick. “Show up to Chicago in my wrestling gear, a few hours from going out there and performing, I get a call from their lawyer.”

The lawyer wanted to know if Kendrick commented on the Holocaust and Sandy Hook.

“And that was it,” said Kendrick. “She goes, ‘I think we’re going to have to pull you from the show.’”

“I said ‘I understand and texted Bryan Danielson. I say, ‘Hey buddy, sorry for the embarrassment’”

“Then I get a call from Sonjay Dutt, go in to meet him and Bryan Danielson, Tony Khan, … [Tony] says, ‘I apologize, you know, I don’t think this would’ve happened if you wouldn’t have quit your job [at WWE] and came here.”

“But this is what we’re dealing with right now. So I think it’s for the best if you grab your gear and you leave.”

Brian Kendrick Amits He Was Wrong

Looking back, Kendrick has no ill words for Khan. In fact, he admitted that his remarks were wrong.

“The truth is I don’t really believe in anything,” said Kendrick. “As far as like, with the Holocaust stuff, for example, you know, how could I say such things.”

“Well, I said them because they’re salacious. I said them to get a rise out of people … What it was, was me trying to profit off of it.”

For the moment, AEW will not be working with Kendrick. Time does heal some wounds, but the roster is loaded and they not need to add extra stress.

Is WWE Paying Big E?

On Match 11, Big E broke his neck on a live edition of SmackDown. He is still healing and thankfully WWE is helping.

On The MMA Hour, Big E noted how he still gets paid by WWE and he has not seen one medical bill. Everything considered, at least WWE is doing the right thing.

There is no telling how long Big E might be out of action. Typically, neck surgery means a year away or even retirement.

The timing is awful as Big E spent twelve months winning Money in the Bank and then the WWE Championship.

While away, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have been representing New Day.
