You’ll Love What Ozzy Osbourne Wants To Do With His Wife After Surgery

Last week, we reported that the legendary Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne was undergoing major surgery that his wife Sharon said would “determine the rest of his life.” With this surgery now behind him, friends of Ozzy’s are saying that he wants to renew his vows with Sharon forty years after they tied the knot.

Ozzy Wants To Renew Wedding Vows

Sources told The Mirror that Ozzy wants to fly to Maui, where they got married in July of 1982, with Sharon to renew their vows and celebrate their forty years of marriage. 

“Ozzy may have been waiting on getting his neck and back sorted after extended leg pain, which has left him unable to walk for long periods,” one friend of his said. “But while that has been his hope, he always wants to treat Sharon to something special for their 40th.”

“They renewed their vows in Vegas, but he hoped to fly them to Maui for a break to recall their big day,” the friend continued. “He hopes that his recovery will be short and nerve damage will be removed so that he can treat his wife. Ozzy may have gone through the mill in recent years, but his spirit and desire to show Sharon how much their love burns bright remains.”

Osbournes Have Renewed Their Vows Before

The Osbournes previously renewed their vows in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2017 after it was revealed that Ozzy had cheated on Sharon with his hairstylist. This briefly led to Ozzy and Sharon splitting up, but they ended up reconciling. 

“For me, this was actually our real wedding day,” Ozzy said at the time. “This is the one that I will remember. Sharon and I have been through so much, and this honestly feels like a new beginning.”

“I made a huge mistake,” he admitted. “Without Sharon, I am nothing. I love her. I can honestly say that I have never loved anybody other than my wife.”

Daily Mail reported that Ozzy let fans know last Thursday that he was “recuperating comfortably” at home after undergoing “major” spinal surgery.

“I am now home from the hospital recuperating comfortably,” he tweeted. “I am definitely feeling the love and support from all my fans and send everyone a big thank you for their thoughts, prayers, and well wishes during my recovery.”

Ozzy Is ‘On The Road To Recovery’

Sharon had revealed after the surgery that Ozzy was “on the road to recovery” and is “doing well.”

“Our family would like to express so much gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love and support leading up to Ozzy ‘s surgery!” she said. “Ozzy is doing well and on the road to recovery! Your love means the world to him.”

Before the surgery, Sharon had said that Ozzy would be having “a very major operation on Monday, and I have to be there. It’s really going to determine the rest of his life.” She then flew back to Los Angeles from London to be with her husband as he recovers. 

Ozzy and Sharon have been through quite a lot in their decades together, so it would certainly be sweet to see them renew their vows this summer! We hope and pray that Ozzy recovers from his surgery quickly so that he can make this happen.
