The Hollywood star Jodie Sweetin of “Full House” and “Fuller House” fame was shoved to the ground by LAPD police officers on Sunday at a protest over the overturn of Roe v. Wade.

Sweetin Shoved To Ground

Check out the moment it happened for yourself below.

Daily Mail reported that Sweetin, 40, had joined activists on a freeway to protest against the overturn of Roe v. Wade. She can be seen in the video dressed in black and holding a megaphone as cops who had formed a line across the freeway shoved her back into the crowd. Sweetin fell to the ground before getting up and continuing with her protest.

Sweetin, who is best known for growing up playing Stephanie Tanner on the sitcom “Full House ” and its Netflix spinoff “Fuller House,” describes herself as an “activist” on social media. Her Twitter bio reads, “Mom, Actress, Activist, Author, Podcaster, Director, Hater of Fascism, Lover of Humanity and Professional Stress Case. In no particular order.”

Sweetin ‘Is The Definition Of A Real One’

The video was initially shared to Instagram by photographer Michael Ade, who claimed that Sweetin was trying to lead a peaceful protest when this happened.

“It pained me to see @JodieSweetin thrown to the ground by members of the LAPD as she was trying to lead a group of peaceful protestors away from the freeway…SMH @LAPDHQ what are y’all doing?” he wrote.

“Jodi is the definition of a real one and fortunately she’s okay!” Ade added. “But for others who choose to protest today move with caution and keep your head on swivel. It’s going to be a very long summer.”

Sweetin has since told TMZ that she’s fine, and that she’s proud of everyone who showed up at her protest.

“I’m extremely proud of the hundreds of people who showed up yesterday to exercise their First Amendment rights and take immediate action to peacefully protest the giant injustices that have been delivered from our Supreme Court,” Sweetin said.

“Our activism will continue until our voices are heard and action is taken,” she continued. “This will not deter us, we will continue fighting for our rights. We are not free until ALL of us are free.”

Overturn Of Roe V. Wade

Liberals have been losing their minds over the overturn of Roe v. Wade, which hands the issue of abortion back to the states.

“Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote in his majority opinion, according to Daily Mail. “Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences. And far from bringing about a national settlement of the abortion issue, Roe and Casey have enflamed debate and deepened division.”

Since Hollywood is full of liberals these days, Sweetin is far from the only celebrity who is sounding off about this ruling. Progressives around the world are calling the decision an abortion ban, though it only sends the decision back to the states. Fortunately, this sort of demagoguery has proven unsuccessful in biasing the Court.
