Last month, we reported that Colin Kaepernick had participated in a workout with the Las Vegas Raiders, marking his first workout with an NFL team since he left the San Francisco 49ers after the 2016 season. The NFL Hall of Famer Warren Sapp has since said that this workout was a “disaster,” and Kaepernick’s agent Jeff Nalley is now firing back at him in a big way.

‘I Heard It Was A Disaster’

Sapp told Vlad TV last week that he’d been told that Kaepernick’s workout with the Raiders was so bad that it was embarrassing.

“I heard it was a disaster,” Sapp said. “I heard it was one of the worst workouts ever.”

Sapp went on to say that the workout was so bad that he is shocked that tape of it hasn’t leaked in the weeks since.

“I’m wondering how the hell this happened and the tape didn’t get out, right?” Sapp said. “I mean, somebody wasn’t over the fence or nothing? Come on, man. We live in a world right now where you can put a drone up and it ain’t like they can stop you.”

Kaepernick’s Agent Fires Back

Kaepernick’s agent Nalley has since fired back at Sapp, and let’s just say that he didn’t take the claims about his client’s workout being a “disaster” well.

“I guess Warren didn’t talk to the general manager or the head coach,” Nalley told Pro Football Talk. “I spoke to the GM several times and he said they all thought Kap was in great shape and threw the ball really well and encouraged any team to call him about the workout and he would tell them the same.”

“I’m surprised Warren would say that because it’s not true and you would think he would want Kap on a team,” he continued.

Kaepernick’s History

Kaepernick became infamous in the eyes of many patriotic Americans when he began taking a knee during the national anthem before his games as the quarterback for the 49ers back in 2016. Though he claimed that he was doing this to protest against racial inequality in America, many saw the move as a clear sign of disrespect to the American flag, and to those who have fought and died for it.

Since Kaepernick left the 49ers after the 2016 season, liberals have tried to turn him into a martyr, claiming that he hasn’t been signed by another team in the years since because the NFL is “racist.” Others, however, have pointed out that Kaepernick led the 49ers to an abysmal losing record during his final season with the team, so it’s likely his own lack of football skills that has led to him not being signed again.

Kaepernick compared the NFL to “slavery” as recently as last fall, when he did so in his Netflix docuseries “Colin In Black & White,” yet now he suddenly claims he’s desperate to play in the league again. In the end, any team would be foolish to sign him at this point, as he’d be more of a distraction than an asset on the field.
