Joy Behar Supports Pro-Abortion Activists Protesting At Justice Alito’s Home

Joy Behar has thrown her support behind the pro-abortion activists who have been protesting outside of the home of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito.

During a segment on Behar’s ABC talk show “The View” on Tuesday, the co-hosts discussed the fact that over one hundred protesters had gathered outside of Alito’s home the night before after a report leaked containing a draft opinion that the Supreme Court justice had written indicating that the court was preparing to overturn Roe V. Wade. 

Despite the fact that showing up outside a Supreme Court justice’s house can easily lead to dangerous violence, Behar supported this protest, saying that it “shows Alito what it feels like to lose your freedom of choice.”

“He cannot leave the house easily, so maybe that’s a good lesson for them,” she added, according to Daily Mail.

Whoopi Goldberg Sounds Off 

This came after Donald Trump’s former White House Communications Director Alyssa Farah Griffin, who was guest hosting, said that the protesters crossed the line.

“‘I will say this, I think the more appropriate venue is the steps of the Supreme Court,” she said. “I worry it could begin to look like intimidation at someone’s doorsteps.”

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg didn’t take this well, however, and she fired back by saying that Griffin was “so funny.”

“So does what Alito wrote. Looks the same way to me,” she said. “It looks like intimidation. And yeah, it’s kind of the same thing.”

Jen Psaki Refuses To Condemn Protesters

This also came after White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki refused to condemn the protests outside of Supreme Court justices’ homes.

“Look, I think the president’s view is that there’s a lot of passion, a lot of fear, a lot of sadness from many, many people across this country about what they saw in that leaked document,” Psaki said. “We obviously want people’s privacy to be respected.”

When pressed on this, Psaki added, “I don’t have an official U.S. Government position on where people protest.”

Behar Calls For ‘Sex Strike’

Liberals have been losing their minds over the possibility of Roe V. Wade being overturned ever since the report leaked. Last week, Behar called for women to go on a “sex strike” if plans to overturn this ruling move forward.

 “Women in the world have conducted sex strikes in history,” she said. “In 2003, a sex strike helped to end Liberia’s brutal civil war, and the woman who started it was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. In 2009, Kenyan women enforced a sex ban until political infighting ceased. Within one week, there was a stable government.”

“We have more power than we think we have, and some of it could be right in the bedroom, just sayin’,” Behar added.

Liberals like Behar can sound off on this all they want to, but we have faith that our Supreme Court justices will not be intimidated by them. If any of these protests outside of justices’ houses escalate to violence, we can only hope that Behar will be held accountable for encouraging them.
