Former UFC Fighter Paige VanZant Makes Her Pro Wrestling Debut

Paige VanZant and CM Punk both scored impressive wins at the recent AEW "Double or Nothing" event that aired live on PPV.

Former UFC fighter Paige VanZant made her official pro wrestling debut over Memorial Day weekend.

VanZant, who has tried her hand at Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship since leaving the UFC, was part of the AEW event, “Double or Nothing” from Las Vegas. The card also featured CM Punk winning the world heavyweight title.

Like VanZant, Punk previously competed inside the Octagon. He also handles commentary duties for Cage Fury Fighting Championships.

VanZant was part of a six-person bout with Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page. They faced Tay Conti, Sammy Guevara and Frankie Kazarian. VanZant nailed several big-spot moves including a spinning DDT.

In the main event, Punk scored a victory over Adam Page. This is his first heavyweight title since 2013 when he was the WWE world heavyweight champion and held the belt for over 400 days.
