The first trailer for Chris Pratt’s new Amazon Prime series “The Terminal List” dropped on Thursday, and in it, he plays a Navy SEAL who is on a quest to prove that he is “not crazy.”
Check out the trailer for yourself below.
People Magazine reported that in this series, Pratt portrays Navy SEAL James Reece, who is desperately to figure out what happened during a covert mission that resulted in the deaths of everyone else in his platoon.
“I think something happened to me on that op,” Reece can be seen saying towards the end of the trailer.

Helping him on his quest to get to the bottom of what went down are his best friend Ben Edwards (Taylor Kitsch) and journalist Katie Buranek (Constance Wu).
“Headaches, paranoia, memory confusion…” Buranek says in the trailer, before Reece interjects, “Well, I’m not crazy!”
“You need somebody to help you prove it,” Buranek continues, finishing her thought.
Writer, showrunner and executive producer David DiGilio explained that the movie is based on the novel by Jack Carr.
“Our hope is that the biggest movie of the summer is actually an eight-episode streaming series on Amazon Prime Video,” DiGilio said. “Jack’s mixture of action, conspiracy, and military authenticity is unparalleled on the page.”
“We knew that if we honored that authenticity, and added in some hair-raising psychological twists and turns, we would have something not just entertaining, but wholly original onscreen,” he continued. “We’ve taken all of Jack Carr’s tradecraft and set it against a tone of paranoia and intrigue.”

The series is set to premiere over the July 4 weekend, which DiGilio said is perfect for a show like this.
“Like many of us, my summers growing up were consumed by big action movies and doing lots of puzzles,” he said. “‘The Terminal List’ combines the two with Chris in a role like we’ve never seen. As the SEALs on the show like to say, ‘Buckle up, things are about to get rowdy.'”
“The Terminal List also stars Jeanne Tripplehorn, Riley Keough, Arlo Mertz, Jai Courtney, JD Pardo, Patrick Schwarzenegger, LaMonica Garrett, Stephen Bishop, Sean Gunn, Tyner Rushing, Jared Shaw, Christina Vidal, Nick Chinlund, Matthew Rauch, Warren Kole, and Alexis Louder,
Pratt has a long history of honoring the military and its veterans, so it comes as no surprise that he would choose this project. We can’t wait to check out “The Terminal List” for ourselves when it premieres on Amazon Prime Video on July 1.
