Anthony Pettis Among Bouts Set For PFL 5 This June

Former UFC champion Anthony Pettis will be back in action when the PFL returns in June at PFL 5 live on ESPN from Atlanta.

Anthony Pettis will be in action at PFL 5.

The event takes place June 24 live on ESPN with heavyweights and featherweights in action.

Pettis will meet Stevie Ray in a lightweight contest.

In the main event, Bruno Cappelozza meets Matheus Scheffel. Cappelozza claimed the 2021 heavyweight title and is well on his way to advancing to the playoffs again.

2021 Featherweight finalist Chris Wade is in a dogfight to secure a fourth consecutive postseason berth. With no finishes in the first half of the year, the featherweight division is wide open heading into the second half of the season and Wade will have his hands full with well-rounded veteran Kyle Bochniak.

“The stakes continue to rise on the road to the PFL Playoffs live from OTE Arena in Atlanta,” said PFL CEO Peter Murray. “The PFL’s unique season format makes each fight a must win and delivers the best MMA action to the millions of fans around the world.”
