Is NXT Superstar Injured, Tammy Sytch With More Legal Trouble

Absent from television recently, is one NXT Superstar injured? And, former WWE Superstar Sunny, otherwise known as Tammy Sytch, is making news with more legal trouble.

Is NXT Superstar Injured

After spotting her on crutches, it’s worth asking…is one NXT Superstar injured?

We have not seen Io Shirai on WWE television (NXT specifically) since her title opportunity at Stand & Deliver.

Now, one Twitter fan has observed that Shirai, a former NXT Women’s Champion, has been seen on crutches.

And, here is the spot during that title match where she may have been injured:

Io Shirai has done basically all there is for her to do in NXT, so following the last NXT special ahead of WrestleMania, she was a popular choice for a WWE main roster call-up.

That has yet to happen, and she’s also not been on NXT on Tuesdays. Now, the undisclosed injury seems to explain why she’s been missing.

WWE has not commented about any injury the NXT Superstar sustained, or any timeframe for her return.

And, for that matter, it is not yet known if Shirai would once again return to NXT…or if she would finally get a chance to show up on RAW or SmackDown.

Hopefully her injury is not too severe, and we see the Genius of the Skies back in a WWE ring soon.

Tammy Sytch With More Legal Trouble

Now, for someone who just seems to always have issues…we have Tammy Sytch with more legal trouble coming her way.

Recently, it was reported that Sytch, known to WWE fans as Sunny, was involved in a fatal car accident.

Tammy Sytch was driving a car, without a license, when it struck another car, killing one man.

According to the Wrestling Observer, the man’s family have now filed a wrongful death suit, going after Sytch for at least $30,000 to cover funeral costs, other expenses and pain and suffering.

For the time being, however, Sytch is free, not charged yet.

Per Meltzer, charges are pending the first WWE Diva’s toxicology results. Sytch has had battles with addiction in the past, so there is concern she may have been under the influence.

What is known for now, regardless of the toxicology results, is that Tammy Sytch was driving without a license. No matter what her screening results are, she killed a man while operating a car without a license.

She is in a good deal of legal trouble, for yet another time in her life. How bad things could get remains to be seen…but it doesn’t look good.

More importantly, an innocent person lost his life in a tragic accident that never needed to happen.
