Raufeon Stots now has the title to back up his words.
The 33-year-old Houston native claimed the interim Bellator bantamweight title this past weekend.
For Stots, that is just one piece of his puzzle.
Now a member of the famed Roufusport in Milwaukee, Stots has trained with former champions since joining the gym in 2015.
He signed on with Bellator in 2019 and has reeled off six consecutive wins. The highlight was this past Saturday at Bellator 279 when he finished Juan Archuleta.
With his third round knockout, Stots claimed the interim title and advanced to the semifinals of the ongoing Bellator Bantamweight World Grand Prix.
Overall, he is riding a 10-fight win streak since a 2017 loss to Merab Dvalishvili.
Catch Bellator’s new Interim Bantamweight Champion Raufeon Stots at the Post Fight Press Conference, as he gives his thoughts on the title win, looking toward facing the toughest fight of his career against teammate Sergio Pettis, and wanting to fight Danny Sabetello whom he doesn’t like.
