Over to the Blue brand, the report notes WWE’s internal listing shows Drew McIntyre as the number one babyface. Meanwhile, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is the top heel.

Interestingly enough, Rollins and Rhodes have a program on RAW right now, while Lashley is focused on Omos and MVP. Lastly, AJ Styles is feuding with Edge and Damien Priest.

On SmackDown, it’s clear that Shinsuke Nakamura will be Roman’s next opponent. It seems like Drew will be feuding with Sami Zayn for the next little while, as well.

Will the top heels and faces change as spring turns into summer? Only time will tell.

Over to NXT, one superstar is locked into a deal with the company. More on this, below.

Superstar Locks In Deal

Back in 2019, Wendy Choo signed a deal with the WWE. She went through a number of gimmick changes to land her current “Wendy Choo” character.

The good news is that this resilience paid off, as Wendy has locked in a deal with the company. She’s “here to stay” in the WWE.

As per a report by Fightful Select, Choo signed a contract extension in 2021. WWE presented this new deal to her as she recovered from a fractured lateral malleolus, an injury she suffered at an NXT live event in 2019.

Sadly, Wendy spent the following two years rehabilitating. However, WWE saw something in her to keep the star around.

The Many Sides Of Choo

Choo competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic under the name Karen Q. In December 2020, she was re-introduced to the fans as Mei Ying, the leader of the “Tian Sha” faction, along with Boa and Xia Li.

When Wendy returned to the ring in November 2021, the Ying gimmick was dropped, and she was repackaged as Wendy Choo. She and Dakota Kai recently competed in the Dusty Rhodes Classic.

According to Fightful, her deal was signed “last year” and well before the Dusty Rhodes tourney. The length of her contract has not been disclosed.

Interestingly enough, Choo was presented with a deal well before returning to NXT TV as Mei Ying. However, it wasn’t signed until later on.

On a side note, the Mei Ying character and Tian Sha stable were said to be personal favorites of Triple H. However, when he experienced his health issues, the concepts were cut without any explanation.
