Bruno Cappelozza will headline PFL 2 this April against Stuart Austin.
The event takes place Thursday, April 28 live on ESPN2 and ESPN+ from the Esports Stadium Arlington in Texas.
Cappelozza, the 2021 heavyweight champion, and Austin will begin their regular season quest.
In the co-main event, featherweight Brendan Loughnane returns to the PFL SmartCage against heavy-handed Japanese prospect Ryoji Kudo.
“With three current or former Professional Fighters League World Champions on the PFL 2 card on April 28, fans around the world are in for a major night of action,” said PFL CEO Peter Murray. “We look forward to continuing to disrupt the sport with the best action in MMA as the Heavyweight and Featherweight fighters begin their seasons with the PFL World Championship and the $1 million purse in their sights.”
Ante Delija vs. Matheus Scheffel and Renan Ferreira vs. Jamelle Jones round out the main card. On the prelims, Lance Palmer, Bubba Jenkins and Sheymon Moraes are all set for action.
