Deonna Purrazzo To AEW? + Ryback Mocks Triple H’s Retirement

Tony Khan has to work out some details, but he wants to sign Deonna Purrazzo to an AEW contract. Also, Ryback continues to act like a fool by poking fun of Triple H having to retire.

Deonna Purrazzo To AEW?

In the beginning, AEW had a real mix of wrestlers. There were veterans, familiar names, huge stars and the those still new to pro wrestling.

In a few months, it will be the three year anniversary of their first show. Since then, the roster has undergone some major changes.

Tony Khan is not known to release talent unless they have done something morally or ethically wrong. Although, he does let contracts expire without renewing them.

Some of the AEW talent from the beginning are starting to depart and others will soon follow. We have seen huge additions over the past twelve months like Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson and CM Punk.

With Khan buying Ring Of Honor (ROH), the roster between both companies will likely grow. Deonna Purrazzo is in an interesting spot.

She holds the AAA Reina de Reina and ROH Women’s Championship. Also, to make things more tricky, she is under contract with Impact Wrestling.

Tony Khan opened up about Purrazzo during Busted Open Radio, where he obviously sees big things.

“When Deonna won the Ring of Honor title, when they booked that match, I did not have an agreement in place to buy Ring of Honor yet and was not booking the matches,” said Khan. “With them having a show the night of our pay-per-view, I don’t know how it’s going to work out.”

“Scott [D’Amore] and I are still talking about. I completely respect their position that they have an event that night too.”

It seems likely Purrazzo will drop the ROH gold very soon. Then, she can move over to the AEW women’s division, which is has improved dramatically in less than three year.

Ryback seems to be one of the toughest people to get along. He has been known to cause a stir on social media.

For the most part, Ryback usually ends up appearing like a fool. Although, he does not seem to grasp that fans are mocking him.

When Triple H announced his retirement from in-ring competition, floods of comments poured in. Fans and wrestlers sent their favorite memories, while also thanking “The Game” for all he has done.

Well, not everyone. Ryback wished Triple H well, but not without adding several insults.

Since being released by WWE, Ryback has done little wrestling. Honestly, he spends more time on social media acting like a child than doing anything positive.

Ryback and Triple H will never be friends. Also, Ryback is likely persona non grata at WWE.

The lineage of pro wrestling dates back centuries, tying the world together through the art of storytelling. After nearly 30 years of watching, now Joe has the chance to report the news about men and women competing inside a 20-foot by 20-foot ring.
