Cody Rhodes Officially Returning To WWE, Flair Wants Own HOF Wing
After tons of speculation, Cody Rhodes will be returning to WWE. And, Charlotte Flair thinks her family deserves their own Hall Of Fame wing.
Cody Rhodes has signed a contract and is officially returning to WWE. Also, Charlotte Flair believes her family deserves their own Hall of Fame wing.
Cody Rhodes Officially Returning To WWE
WrestleMania season is here, but a non-WWE employee is getting all the attention. That person is none other than Cody Rhodes.
In a surprise move, Rhodes decided not to re-sign with AEW. Talk quickly shifted that he was already WWE bound.
So, that was over a month ago and Rhodes is yet to debut. Therefore, many were speculating that the deal might have fallen through.
PW Insider has confirmed that Rhodes has officially re-signed with WWE. They noted how the deal was signed somewhere in the last 10 to 14 days.
Details, such as length and money, are currently not known. The report did continue how the current plan has Rhodes debuting during WrestleMania weekend.
He could appear on night one and then build towards a match on the second evening. The “American Nightmare” was originally penciled to wrestle Seth Rollins.

Currently, Rollins has no opponent. So, WWE still has time to book Rollins vs Rhodes.
Meanwhile, WWE could go another direction. The RAW after Wrestlemania is also huge, so the return could be held off until after the big show.
If the Rollins match does materialize, that would make him a natural fit on RAW.
This will mark Rhodes’ second run with WWE. He was granted his release in 2016 while portraying Stardust.
Rhodes would then work the Indy scene for a few years, including stops in Ring Of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling and Impact Wrestling. During that time, he was a member of The Bullet Club.
In 2019, AEW officially debuted. Rhodes was one of the biggest names to sign and also given the title of EVP.
He leaves AEW as a record three time TNT Champion. Towards the end, fans turned on Rhodes, but he refused to turn heel.
Flair Wants Own HOF Wing
In pro wrestling, some families only know the business. And, the Flair family has two of the biggest names ever.
We have Ric Flair and his daughter, Charlotte Flair. Ric is already been inducted twice into the WWE Hall Fame (HOF).
As for Charlotte, she has already proven enough to land a spot in the HOF. While speaking to Hindu Times, Charlotte feels her family deserves their own wing.
“One day, people are going to realize there will never ever be a family due like Ric Flair and Charlotte Flair. Never,” said Charlotte. “We will need our own wing in the Hall of Fame.”
They are certainly not getting their own wing, but their accomplishments speak for themselves.

Ric is a 16-time World Champion and Charlotte has already held WWE gold 13-times. They might be records that nobody breaks.
Charlotte is currently in a major feud with Ronda Rousey. They will meet for the second time in singles action at WrestleMania 38 for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
