When it comes to the next year, WWE has big matches set for Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Also, Kofi Kingston was set for a huge spot in the Royal Rumble before an early botch scratched that idea.

Ronda Rousey – Becky Lynch – Charlotte Flair Plan

The Royal Rumble was not even 24 hours ago, but there were some big moments. In particular, how the return of Ronda Rousey will impact WrestleMania 38.

Rousey returned as a surprise entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match. Although, news leaked earlier in the week she was headed back to WWE.

The final participants in the match were Rousey and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. In quick fashion, Rousey tossed Flair over the top rope for the win.

The idea is Rousey will work the next two WrestleMania events in high-profile matches. Also, Fightful Select reports how WWE pushed for Rousey ever she gave birth back in September.

To begin, WrestleMania 38 will see Rousey vs Charlotte. They have met in singles action, with Rousey winning a great match via disqualification.

Then, there is Becky Lynch. She has a long history with Rousey too and they are penciled in for WrestleMania 39.

Remember, Becky, Flair and Rousey made history by headlining WrestleMania 35 as no females had ever done so. On that occasion, Becky walked out with two belts; despite, her pin attempt on Rousey being botched.

After defeating Doudrop at the Royal Rumble, Becky should be headed into a program with Bianca Belair. That angle started back at SummerSlam when Becky returned.

Huge Rumble Botch

Kofi Kingston has done so much in WWE that he is running out of goals. While he was never a favorite to win the Royal Rumble, fans were still excited.

That is because Kingston is known to steal the match with some insane move to avoid elimination. Basically, Kingston shows there is even excitement when getting tossed over the top rope.

Last night, Kingston was eliminated during a botched spot. He jumped to the outside and was supposed to grab the barricade, but his feet hit the floor.

WWE had no choice but to remove him from the match. Bryan Alvarez noted a huge spot was planned between Kingston and Big E.

We do not know what the spot was. In all likelihood, it would have been something fans talked about for days to follow.
