Boston Salmon Picks Up PFL Contract On Contender Series

Salmon scored a featherweight contract for the 2022 regular season with his performance.
Reinaldo Ekson, Edwin Cooper, Jr. and Brahyan Zurcher were also winners on the series. The card aired live on Fubo Sports Network from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
“Boom Boom” Salmon stopped Do Gyeom Lee at the end of the second round. The hard-charging Salmon forced Lee’s corner to end the contest and give Salmon his fifth consecutive knockout and improve to 8-3-0.
In further action, Ekson defeated Mike Barnett via unanimous decision. Ekson, a veteran fighter, and former EFC Featherweight Champion proved to be too much for Barnett. After tonight’s win Ekson’s record stands at 18-5-0 while riding a four fight win streak.
