Rudy Giuliani The Masked Singer

During the taping of the first episode of season seven of “The Masked Singer” last week, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was unveiled as one of the contestants.

Giuliani Unveiled As ‘Masked Singer’ Contestant

Sources told Deadline that chaos ensued as soon as Giulani’s identity was revealed, with judges Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong reacting by storming off the set. Check out a trailer for this season of the reality television competition show below.

While Thicke and Jeong “quickly left the stage in protest” over Giuliani being involved in the show, judges Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger remained and even bantered with the Republican.

An insider said that Thicke and Jeong eventually returned to the stage and resumed filming of the show.

Daily Mail reported that the theme of this season of “The Masked Singer” is “The Good, The Bad and The Cuddly.” It is set to premiere on March 9.

Sarah Palin Was Once On ‘The Masked Singer’

Giulani isn’t the first figure who is seen as controversial by the left to appear on “The Masked Singer.”

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin competed on the show back in 2020, when she was eliminated.

“This might be the most shocked I’ve ever been on this show,” host Nick Cannon said at the time after finding out Palin was a contestant, according to The New York Post. Before her identity was unveiled, Palin was competing as a bear on the show.

“Maybe I’ve been a bit polarizing, but just like a bear, it’s been to protect my cubs,” she said in a clip before her elimination, according to WWLP. She was then eliminated after rapping Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Baby Got Back.”

While she described the experience of being on the show as “the weirdest thing I’ve ever done,” Palin also praised “The Masked Singer” for allowing a conservative to be on the cast.

“It’s all about fun. It’s unity. This is all good,” she said after her elimination. “This something that our country needs right now.”

Few Further Details About Giuliani’s Time On ‘The Masked Singer’

At the time of this writing, no clips have leaked of Giuliani being on “The Masked Singer.” Both his costume and song choice are unknown at this time.

Thicke and Jeong’s reactions to him simply being on their show is a prime example of just how closed minded the liberal elites of Hollywood are towards conservative Americans.

Perhaps someone should remind Thicke and Jeong that likely at least half of their viewers are conservatives.
