UFC On ESPN Results: Calvin Kattar Kicks Off 2022 With Win
It was Calvin Kattar opening 2022 for the UFC with a big win, as he scored a victory in the main event of UFC on ESPN.
Calvin Kattar began 2022 with an impressive performance Saturday night.
Kattar dominated Giga Chikadze for five rounds in the main event of UFC on ESPN 32. The card was the first of the new year for the UFC.
Inside the Octagon from the UFC Apex, Kattar shined bright on ESPN. The win moved him to 23-5 overall and 3-1 in his last four around a loss to Max Holloway.
In the co-main event, Jake Collier submitted Chase Sherman in the first round. Collier locked in a rear-naked choke for the win.
Brandon Royval topped Rogerio Bontorin, Katlyn Chookagian downed Jennifer Maia and Viacheslav Borschchev finished Dakota Bush.
Bill Algeo kicked off the main card with a win vs. Joanderson Brito.
Jamie Pickett, Court McGee, Brian Kelleher and T.J. Brown were all prelim winners.
