Lori Loughlin And Mossimo Giannulli Robbed

Daily Mail reported that while Loughlin and Giannulli were not home when the robbery took place at their Los Angeles mansion. The couple’s housekeeper saw the masked men wearing all-black as they made their escape following the robbery.

While local police were able to obtain security footage from the home at the time of the crime, they have yet to release it publicly.

Loughlin and Giannulli bought this home in Hidden Hills for $9.5 million in August of 2020, when they were right in the midst of their college admissions scandal.

Each of them served prison time on charges related to them paying $500,000 to have their two daughters admitted to the University of Southern California as members of the crew team, even though neither girl had ever rowed before.

The 12,000 square foot home has been described in its listing as a “contemporary farmhouse masterpiece” that features marble interiors, a huge back patio, and a large kitchen island.

Since the robbery, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have already amped up the security that they have at the mansion. Police are unsure if the couple was targeted specifically, or if the burglars picked their home at random.

Lori Loughlin Attends Bob Saget’s Funeral

A representative for Loughlin told Metro that the actress is “thankful no one was hurt,” and that the death of her former “Full House” costar Bob Saget earlier this month has changed her “perspective” on material things.

“She says material stuff isn’t the most important thing in life, it’s family and love,” the representative continued.

Saget was notably one of Loughlin’s few outspoken supporters amid her public scandal.

Southern California Crime Spike

This comes amidst a crime spike in Hollywood, with violent crime rate increasing by 25 percent over the past year. Data from the Los Angeles Police Department shows that robberies are up 41.6 percent and that shootings have increased by 54.2 percent over last year.

Hopefully the police will find the criminals who robbed Loughlin and Giannulli before they can target anyone else.

A home robbery seems like the last thing Lori Loughlin needs as she works to rebuild her life. The actress is attempting to resurrect her Hollywood career following her public scandal and prison stint. Her first break was a surprise return as Abigail Stanton in “When Hope Calls” on GAC
