Country music stars Morgan Wallen, Jason Aldean, and Travis Tritt, each of whom were targeted by cancel culture in 2021, are set to headline the Country Thunder music festival at Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) in 2022.

Country Thunder Bristol Music Festival

WJHL reports that Wallen, Aldean, and Tritt are three of the country music stars set to perform at Country Thunder in Bristol, which is scheduled to take place from September 30 until October 1.

After performing at Bristol Motor Speedway earlier this year, Morgan Wallen immediately announced plans to go back in 2022.

“The fans in Bristol, and indeed, the entire Tri-Cities area have spoken,” said County Thunder Music Festivals CEO Troy Vollhoffer. “We have made so many wonderful new friends in this part of the world that we can’t wait to get back. The camping culture is huge in so many County Thunder markets, and I see it growing here now that we are a multi-day event. Add that to the history and electricity of Bristol Motor Speedway and you have one incredible event!”

Other artists performing at Country Thunder include HARDY, Lauren Alaina, Tracy Lawrence, Kameron Marlowe, MacKenzie Porter, and Ian Munsick. More are expected to be announced in the coming months.

Liberals will undoubtedly be fuming about this lineup. Morgan Wallen, Jason Aldean, and Travis Tritt have all been targeted by cancel culture for different reasons over the past year.

Morgan Wallen’s N-Word Scandal

In February, Wallen landed in hot water when a video was circulated of him saying the n-word after a night out with friends.

The young country singer immediately took responsibility, and has apologized many times since, but was still suspended from his recording contract indefinitely and had his music pulled from many radio stations.

“I’m embarrassed and sorry. I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that I wish I could take back,” Wallen said, according to CNN. “There are no excuses to use this type of language, ever. I want to sincerely apologize for using the word. I promise to do better.”

The scandal, however, seemed to bolster rather than dampen Morgan Wallen’s popularity with his fans.

Wallen’s song “Dangerous” continues to be one of the biggest hits of 2021. He also received several awards this year – including three Billboard Music Awards despite being banned from attending or performing.

Most recently, Morgan Wallen accepted the honor of receiving two fan-voted Country Now Awards including Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Album.

Jason Aldean Targeted For Conservatives Views

Aldean and his wife Brittany have come under fire from the left for being unapologetic about their conservative views. Despite the backlash he’s received from liberals, Aldean has made it clear that he won’t let cancel culture silence him.

“I think people know where I stand politically. I’m not a guy that’s just going to go out there and start trying to stir the pot just to stir the pot,” Aldean said while appearing on Audacy’s “Rob + Holly.” “At some point, it’s gotten to where if you’re a conservative and you’re in this business, you’re not allowed to speak.”

Travis Tritt’s Anti-Vaccine Mandate Activism

As for 90’s country icon Travis Tritt, he’s angered liberals by speaking out against vaccine mandates, even going so far as to refuse to perform at venues that have them in place.

“I’m putting my money where my mouth is and announcing that any venue or promoter mandating masks, requiring vaccinations, or pushing COVID testing protocols on my fans will not be tolerated,” Tritt told Daily Wire back in October. “Any show I have booked that discriminates against concert-goers by requiring proof of vaccination, a COVID test, or a mask is being canceled immediately.”

Bristol Motor Speedway is making quite a statement with Jason Aldean, Morgan Wallen, and Travis Tritt headlining Country Thunder. It’s impressive to see the venue and fans stand by these artists despite pressure from the left to cancel them.

What would Travis Tritt say to any critics? This probably sums it up.

Country Thunder Bristol certainly boasts an impressive lineup of talent. This is one country music festival that you do not want to miss!
