Country music star Jason Aldean is one of the few openly conservative celebrities in the entertainment world, and he isn’t afraid of being canceled for these political views.

Aldean Refuses To Be Silenced
Despite the fact that conservatives in the entertainment world are being silenced left and right, Aldean has no intention of letting cancel culture intimidate him.
“I think people know where I stand politically. I’m not a guy that’s just going to go out there and start trying to stir the pot just to stir the pot,” Aldean said while appearing on Audacy’s “Rob + Holly.” “At some point, it’s gotten to where if you’re a conservative and you’re in this business, you’re not allowed to speak.”

Aldean went on to say that while he has “a lot of friends in this business” who think the way he does, many “are really scared to stand up and say anything for fear of backlash.”
However, staying silent about his views isn’t an option for Aldean. He revealed he struggles to sleep if he feels that he’s not speaking up about something that he believes in.
“To me, it’s hard for [me] to go lay my head down at night with a clear conscience, feeling like I’m a coward for not saying the things that I want to say or I feel like need to be said,” he explained.
Aldean Defends His Wife
Recently, Aldean’s wife Brittany was targeted by cancel culture for sharing photos of their children decked out in anti-Biden gear.
Aldean immediately rushed to her defense with an “unapologetic” response to those who criticized her disapproval of Biden.
“I will never apologize for my beliefs or my love for my family and country,” Aldean posted on Instagram alongside a photo of his silhouette in front of an American flag. “This is the greatest country in the world and I want to keep it that way.”

‘You Don’t Have To Agree With Me’
In his latest interview, Aldean said that unlike liberals, he doesn’t need everyone to agree with him, he’s simply expressing an opinion.
“People are going to have their opinion about whatever I say or think or whatever and that’s completely fine,” he said. “You don’t have to agree with me, I don’t expect everybody to agree with me, but I also have a voice and opinion just like everybody else.”
