It’s been nearly two months since the fatal shooting on the set of the movie Rust that claimed the life of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza. A source is now opening up about how Alec Baldwin, who was holding the gun that carried out the shooting, has been doing since then, saying that his life has been “a nightmare.”

Watch Baldwin lash out at a reporter in New York City over the weekend in the video below.

Baldwin’s ‘Nightmare’ Since The Shooting

The insider told People Magazine that Baldwin “has been taking things day by day with his family.”

“They are trying to keep things as normal as possible for the kids, but it’s not easy,” the source said of Baldwin, 63, and his 37-year-old wife Hilaria. The couple are parents to six young children.

The insider went on to say that Baldwin “feels terrible about what happened—it’s all been a nightmare.”

Baldwin’s Interview

This comes days after Baldwin opened up about the shooting in an interview with George Stephanopoulos.

“I would go to any lengths to undo what happened,” Baldwin said in the interview. However, he also controversially said that he doesn’t feel guilty about the shooting. When asked directly if he felt guilt, Baldwin said no.

“I might have killed myself if I felt that I was responsible,” he explained. “I don’t say that lightly.”

Baldwin then surprisingly claimed that he “didn’t pull the trigger” of the gun.

“The trigger wasn’t pulled,” he said. “I didn’t pull the trigger. I let go of the hammer of the gun, and the gun goes off. I would never point a gun at anyone and pull a trigger at them. Never.”

Baldwin Gushes Over His Family

After the interview aired, Baldwin took to Instagram to post a photo of himself holding one of the six children he shares with Hilaria.

“No matter what happens to me. No matter what I suffer. If I win or lose, anything. Anything. No one can take away from me the joy and love you have given me,” he wrote in the caption, tagging his wife.

“These are tough times. The world is choked with fumes of hate. But you have given me a reason to live,” he continued. “Our life with our family is all I care about. Nothing else. I owe that to you.”

Baldwin is a shameless liberal who has spent years demonizing anyone who is remotely conservative while constantly lecturing the world about politics. The fact that he continues to make a shooting that claimed someone else’s life all about himself just shows how truly obsessed with himself that Baldwin is and has always been.
