Amanda Nunes suffered a shocking loss at UFC 269 this past weekend.
But she plans to bounce back.
Nunes lost one of her two titles to Julianna Pena when she was submitted in the co-main event. The top female fighter in the world, though, took to social media to discuss a rematch.
“You guys think I’m going out unbalanced,” Nunes said. “I undoubtedly accept the rematch.
“Give me a little time to get my shit together and I will be back better than ever.”
Nunes posted a picture of herself standing with the featherweight title on her left shoulder. The right shoulder is bare, missing the bantamweight belt that now belongs to Pena.
The Brazilian held the bantamweight belt for over five years before falling. She came out strong vs. Pena before getting taken down and locked in a rear-naked choke.
