Bellator 270 Results: Patricky Pitbull Claims Title, Stops Peter Queally

With a dominating performance, Patricky Pitbull became the newest Bellator champion, stopping Peter Queally at Bellator 270.

Patrick “Pitbull” Freire won back the Bellator title for his family Friday night.

Freire finished Peter Queally in the first round, securing the belt in the main event of Bellator 270.

The stoppage came just 65 seconds into the fight.

“He (Queally) thought that I was going to kick his leg again. I can kick it anytime. I went to my hand, my power,” Freire said. “I was just relaxing and enjoying the fight. I enjoy the Guinness.

“I fought for 10 years in different places, Japan, Canada, the U.S.A. It doesn’t matter. I am the warrior. I am Brazilian. I am the king of KOs, and now I am the champ.”

In the co-main event, Patchy Mix submitted James Gallagher in the third round, improving his record to 15-1 overall.

“I knew he had to get a takedown in the last round because I controlled the second. In the second round, he had me in the guillotine,” he said. “I was nervous and came out flat in that first round. I didn’t expect the fight to be like this.”

Pedro Carvalho earned a decision over Daniel Weichel in a featured bout on the main card.
