Credit Khamzat Chimaev for taking advantage of the spotlight given to him.

After scoring an impressive win at UFC 267, Chimaev called out Nate Diaz for a future fight between the two.

Chimaev submitted Li Jingliang to improve to 10-0. It was his first fight since knocking out Gerald Meerschaeert in 18 seconds back in 2020.

Since joining the UFC, “Borz” has posted four wins, with all four coming via stoppage.

“He Diaz, let’s go brother,” he said during the post-fight press conference (thanks to MMA Fighting for the quotes. “Let’s go. You gonna get some smoke, bro. Let’s see who is the real gangster.

“Fight, fight, fight – I love this. Make money, and it makes me happy to do this for you guys.”

Diaz returned to the Octagon this past June, falling to Leon Edwards. It is believed he has one fight remaining on his UFC contract.

Chimaev also made it known he would be interested in fighting Jorge Masvidal. Masvidal bested Diaz for the BMF title.

“Let’s see who is the real gangster,” Chimaev said. “Masvidal, he has some belt. I don’t know, mother (expletive) belt, something. I’m gonna take everything from this UFC.

“Now, I am UFC, brother.”
