Blake Lively

Gossip Girl star and my dad’s favorite actress Blake Lively has had it with the paparazzi. After an Instagram account posted paparazzi pictures of her children, the mother of three decided to fire back and demand the account take the photos down.

“I’ve personally shared with you that these men stalk and harass my children. And you are still posting. You said you would stop. You personally promised me,” she wrote. “This is not casual appreciation. This is YOU also exploiting very young children. Please. Delete. Please.”

The A Simple Favor star called the photos “disturbing.” This is not the first time Lively has raised concerns about the paparazzi stalking her children. In July, Lively implored the photographers to “Get with the times.”

“Where is your morality here? I would like to know. Or do you simply not care about the safety of children?”

I don’t get the issue with people that need to see pictures of a celebrity’s kid. They aren’t your kid. They have nothing to do with you. For obvious reasons, I will not share the photo or the account’s name.

Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds want to spare their children from the glare of celebrity.

Like many parents, famous and not, Lively wants to avoid putting their children on social media. Understandable, right?

Blake Lively And Her Kids Deserve Privacy

I’m not one of those people who believe that every aspect of your life is up view just because you’re famous. That’s doubly true when it comes to someone’s kids.

Paparazzi has to be one of the lowest professions out there. You’re just capturing photos of celebrities while they exist. Not only that, but then they can lead stars into dangerous behavior. Just look at what they did to Britney Spears during her mental health issues.

You can go after a celebrity or a politician all you want, but you have to leave the kids out of it. The children of famous parents didn’t choose this life and don’t deserve the same level of scrutiny and attention.

Leave People Alone

But even more than that, where is the common decency to leave people alone?

Why are we obsessed with being into every aspect of someone’s life. It is easy to blame Facebook or the Internet, but I blame humanity.

Leave people alone, it is not complicated, and you’ll find your life to be a lot easier when you don’t concern yourself so much with the lives of strangers.
