Unfortunately, we have sad news to report as Daffney Unger passed away at only 46 years old. Also, WNZ published an earlier report, which indicates that Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard will be producing WWE NXT moving forward.

However, who will be “running” the brand after it is revamped?

Sad News On Daffney Unger

Professional wrestler Daffney Unger has fans concerned. She posted an Instagram live stream last night that caused worry among many.

In fact, police were sent to her home. However, they reportedly were unable to reach Unger.

As per a report from TMZ, while officials tried to locate Daffney, they couldn’t. They also went to her old address, but were not able to contact her.

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley, and others, encouraged fans to contact Unger. Her live stream implied suicide.

Many within the wrestling community are distraught over this. Sadly, according to a SHIMMER Wrestling tweet, it appears that Daffney has passed away.

More On Daffney’s IG Live Stream

Daffney’s real name is Shannon Spruill. She was recording a live stream video last night on Instagram.

The clip apparently reveals a pistol in her hand. Unger was sobbing during the video.

She also states some worrisome things during the video that hinted at suicide. Daffney’s family is asking fans to respect their privacy at this time.

Daffney has both performed as wrestler and valet over the years. She’s appeared on Impact, Ring of Honor, and WCW.

Daffney ranked 18 in 2009 PWI Female 50, and once held the WCW Cruiserweight title. On behalf of WNZ, we extend our thoughts to Daffney’s loved ones and fans.

VKM and Bruce Prichard are in charge of producing WWE NXT after the brand’s reset later this month. The good news is that HHH and his team will run the show.

NXT is set to resume live episodes later this month. In fact, the September 14th edition will be the brand’s debut of a new look, logo, and even theme song.

Our previous report states that Prichard and McMahon will make NXT’s “big decisions”. They will also look over the direction of the brand, as well as promotion and marketing.

Word is that it’ll look like the NXT of old, circa its peak era of 2015 to 2018. But there is some good news for avid fans of this brand.

Triple H Will Be “Running” Revamped WWE NXT

According to the Twitter handle, WrestleVotes, day-to-day operations won’t change too much. HHH, along with Shawn Michaels, Matt Bloom, William Regal, and others will be overseeing things.

With that said, the NXT weekly production of shows will have a “Vince & Co.” stamp of approval. Interestingly, when news hit of VKM overseeing production, #RIPNXT began trending on Twitter, worldwide over the past 24 hours.

Still, it’s important to note that a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio suggests that this NXT reset means that HHH will lose some power over the brand. Doesn’t sound good.

Will this be a successful transition? Only time will tell.
