Two former UFC champions will square off this September when Anderson Silva meets Tito Ortiz.

The match will take place in a boxing match under the Triller banner on September 11 according to multiple reports.

Plans are for it to be over eight rounds at 195 pounds with 10-ounce gloves.

Silva, a former UFC middleweight champion, recently scored a victory over Juilo Cesar Chavez Jr. in a boxing match, improving to 2-1.

During his MMA career, “The Spider” was considered one of the greatest of all-time. He held the middleweight belt for several years and headlined many UFC pay-per-views.

Ortiz, meanwhile, was a force at light heavyweight and helped begin the movement of the UFC to what it would become. His last “fight” came in 2019 when he faced Alberto El Patron.

The Silva-Ortiz match will be on the same card as Oscar De La Hoya facing Vitor Belfort.
