Nashville Label Who Reps Tim McGraw, Glenn Campbell Refuses To Bow To ‘Cancel’ Culture

Earlier this month conservative rocker turned country artist Aaron Lewis released a patriotic anthem that doesn’t take kindly to today’s progressive agenda called “Am I The Only One.” Unsurprisingly, this enraged the left, and calls quickly grew for Lewis to be “cancelled.” The founder of his Nashville recordBig Machine, however, is not having any of it.

Aaron Lewis, best known as the former frontman for Staind, scored his first #1 hit on the Billboard Hot Country chart, as well as his highest solo Hot 100 rank.

Backstory: Conservative Rocker Drops Country Anthem That Will Trigger Liberals And Empower Patriots

Founder Of Nashville Record Label Big Machine Stands By Lewis

Big Machine Label Group founder Scott Borchetta wrote an open letter responding to a scathing review of “Am I The Only One” that was clearly written by a bitter liberal.

Borchetta stood by the song, pointing out that his label also releases the music of artists like Sheryl Crow, who penned the liberal politically-motivated song “Woman In The White House.”

“Aaron Lewis and I have political disagreements. But there are also things we agree on. I think that’s the foundation for the idea of our country,” Borchetta wrote.

Notably, Big Machine also reps big names like Tim McGraw, Sugarland, Jason Aldean, Rascal Flats, and the legend himself Glen Campbell

“It doesn’t work if we’re so divided that we can’t reach across the aisle, have a conversation or an argument, and ultimately, shake hands,” he added. “If we can’t do that, and this moment is so divisive, we may never get our country back.”

Liberal Gives

Aaron Lewis Anthem Scathing Review

Borchetta wrote this letter in response to a review of “Am I The Only One” that was written by the leftist industry blogger Bob Lefsetz.

“This middle-class, right-wing wanker has recorded a song that should have been played at CPAC, in between speeches by nitwits like saying to refuse the ‘Fauci ouchie,’” Lefsetz wrote of Lewis’ song.

The song’s lyrics include:

Am I the only one willin’ to fight
For my love of the red and white
And the blue burnin’ on the ground?
Another statue’s comin’ down in a town near you
Watchin’ the threads of Old Glory come undone

However, Borchetta refused to back down to Lefsetz, defiantly saying that he will not “cancel” Lewis because many Americans agree with him and the message behind his song.

“You don’t have to agree or acknowledge, but Aaron’s message is speaking to millions of people,” he explained. “Let it be a wake up call to reps and dems alike – be loud and be heard! It woke you up. It inspired you to make a statement. It worked. And it’s working. It’s inspiring conversation.”

In a time when liberals are trying to silence anything and anyone that is remotely conservative, Borchetta’s letter is incredibly refreshing.

Conservatives are inundated with liberal media and entertainment on a daily basis whether we like it or not. Yet, leftists can’t handle hearing even one song that has a rightwing message.

Perhaps liberals should open their minds to other views and ideologies instead of trying to cancel whoever dares to voice them.

James Conrad

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
