Twitter Map Shows LeBron James Is Overwhelmingly The Most Hated Player In The NBA

Basketball player LeBron James was shown to be the most hated player in the NBA in a Twitter map compiled by geotagged data.

The Washington Times reported that Sports Insider used geotagged Twitter data to find the most hated NBA player in every state. 

To make the map, Sports Insider looked at over 70,000 tweets, hashtags, and direct keyword phrases about not liking NBA athletes in each state.

For example, phrases that were looked at include “I hate Player X” or “Player Y sucks.”

James ended up with the dubious distinction of being the most hated player in 24 states, more than any other player on the map.

The only player to even come close to James was his former teammate Kyrie Irving, who is the most hated in 18 states, according to the map.

Here’s the full breakdown:

LeBron James – 24 states
Kyrie Irving – 18 states
James Harden – 3 states
Kevin Durant – 3 states
Russell Westbrook – 1 state
Paul George – 1 state

James Harden and Kevin Durant were each the most hated players in three states, while Russell Westbrook and Paul George got the most hated player distinction in one state apiece.

Why Is LeBron The Most Hated?

Sports analyst David Hookstead pointed out some of the reasons James was likely the most hated player in the NBA.

He cited his radically leftwing political activism, his criticisms of police, and his kowtowing to China while ignoring the atrocities being committed there.

“I guess this is what happens when you go out of your way to alienate fans, act like a petulant child on the court when losing and when you dox a police officer for saving a girl’s life,” Hookstead said.

“Turns out, fans don’t really like seeing that stuff,” he added. “Whoever could have guessed that might be the case? I sure never saw it coming!”

James Vs. Kaepernick

Hookstead also carried out a poll among fans, asking “Who is worse for sports: LeBron James or Colin Kaepernick?”

Some would have thought the “winner” would be Kaepernick. He’s the infamous former San Francisco 49ers quarterback who started the national anthem kneeling protests in the name of racial equality.

Instead, the poll went a different direction. 

“Of the 1,855 voters, 60.1% voted that LeBron is worse for sports than the former 49ers quarterback,” Hookstead revealed.

The bottom line is that fans everywhere are sick and tired of being lectured to by radical liberal activists by overpaid athletes like James and Kaepernick.

Over the past few months especially, James has shown himself to be a narcissistic leftwing brat who doesn’t actually have any idea what he’s talking about.

Perhaps he should keep his mouth shut, and focus more on basketball.
