Sadie Robertson of “Duck Dynasty” fame has only been a mom for one week, yet she is already saying that motherhood has “changed” her forever as she shares new photos of darling daughter, Honey James Huff.
Sadie Robertson Gets Candid After The Birth Of Daughter, Honey
23-year-old Sadie Robertson and husband Christian welcomed their daughter Honey James on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
Just one week of the birth of her baby, Sadie took to Instagram today to share a special photo and update with fans.

“1 week and you’ve officially changed me for the better. I’ve learned that before I ever get to really teach you a thing you will teach me a million,” Sadie wrote in the caption.

Sadie Robertson Shares How Motherhood Has Changed Her Already
Sadie proceeded to list out five ways her daughter has changed her.
The first was, “The way you came into the world was absolutely everything we prayed for and absolutely nothing we had planned for and that’s the best way it could have been.”
“If your birth had happened how I ‘planned’ then we wouldn’t had seen what we had prayed,” she added. “His plan is way better than our own. I love my little chunky miracle.”
The second thing Sadie listed out is that she recognizes the “miracles” that is her sweet daughter, Honey. Every new life is a miracle but certainly giving birth to a child of your own cements this in a new way.
Sadie describes Honey as the type of “miracle” that comes from a “moment of desperation, fear and even pain, but none of those feelings compare to the gratitude of receiving the miracle.”
The young mom nailed it. That truly is childbirth in a nutshell.

Honey James Huff Changed Her Mom’s View On Body Image
One of the more surprising things that Sadie has already learned from Honey is about “body image.”
“my body is much more than an image,” Sadie explained. “It’s a powerful creation that can host and grow a powerful creation. If I EVER get tripped up about my body image again it better be me tripping over the fact I’m made in the IMAGE of God!”
Sadie also said that she learned a powerful lesson about her voice, which she has realized “is not about the tone or being the best but it’s the thing that makes you feel most at peace so I’ll sing to you forever. You’re my little worship partner.”
The final thing that Sadie learned from her daughter is that every “single day I have a purpose. the greatest job in the world – being your mama.”
“thank you Honey for changing my perspective of things already,” Sadie concluded. “You are one of a kind… an original. My heart swells when I even think of you and I have thought of you for the past 24/7.”
We’re so glad to see that Sadie Robertson is already loving her life as a mom. Fans of the Robertson family can’t wait to see what the future brings for the newly expanded clan.
One thing is for certain: Honey James Huff is one lucky baby to have a mother like Sadie!
