Kevin Spacey returns to the big screen for the first time since being accused by multiple men and minors of sexual assault. But, the role in which he is cast is viewed as a spit in the eye to his alleged victims.

Spacey As Detective Investigating Pedophile

Spacey will shockingly be a detective investigating a wrongly accused pedophile.

This tone deaf move isn’t sitting well with people who want Hollywood elites held accountable for its sexual crimes against others in the industry.

More than 20 young men state that Spacey lodged sexual misconduct against them during his days at London’s Old Vic Theater.

The only way to add more hypocrisy to this film is if Harvey Weinstein produced it.

The disgraced actor will return to the screen in the Italian film “L’uomo Che Disegnò Dio.”

In English, this means “The Man Who Drew God.” Franco Nero is directing the film. And, Nero’s wife Vanessa Redgrave will also star with Spacey.

Spacey’s Last Film Bombed

The Academy Award winning actor’s last film was in 2018 when he appeared in “Billionaire Boys Club.”

Due to the toxic nature of having Spacey cast, the movie took in only $618 from 11 locations during opening weekend. Now, Nero is giving Spacey a second chance.

With the actor’s last film only bringing in $618 at the box office, the bar is set pretty low.

Spacey was tossed from Netflix’s highly watched “House of Cards” in 2017 when these allegations came to light.

This was as the ‘me too’ era intensified and Hollywood predators were being exposed.

Besides coming out as gay, the actor has been largely silent in the subsequent years.

Comparison To OJ Simpson’s “If I Did It” Book

Tweeter Matt Dawson drew a comparison between Kevin Spacey and OJ Simpson.

The Juice wrote a book “If I Did It” about the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.

Spacey’s performance as as detective investigating a wrongly accused pedophile smacks of the same arrogance as OJ’s.

Once Charlie Rose described Spacey’s relationship with former President Bill Clinton as a “bromance,” take a look:

Kevin Spacey has reportedly not commented on his upcoming role in this film.
