Months after the demise of Undisputed Era, some surprise details are coming to light thanks to Kyle O’Reilly. Also, it seems like SummerSlam will have fans as WWE narrows down the location to two states.

Surprise Details On Undisputed Era Demise

Usually, NXT is just a stepping stone before the main roster. Although, some wrestlers have been there for years and have no desire to leave the yellow and black brand.

The most dominating stable has easily been the Undisputed Era. They started as three with Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish before Roderick Strong joined.

The faction debuted in August 2017 and lasted until March’s Takeover Vengeance Day. At that event, Cole turned on O’Reilly and the stable was done.

While speaking to Sean Waltman’s Pro Wrestling 4 Life podcast, O’Reilly revealed how the major moment was decided within hours. The idea was done to generate buzz.

“It was a true collaboration, in the sense of ‘OK, well then if we are doing this, then we have got to do it tonight at TakeOver,” said O’Reilly. “We’ll maximize the opportunity and get people to tune in on Wednesday to see why, what happened.”

“We wanted to create more questions. That’s how you want to end the show; something crazy happens and ‘What happened to UE?’”

“It is crazy how it all happened so fast and so suddenly; literally, within hours. ‘This is happening? Oh my God.’”

Current Status Of Undisputed Era Members

A lot has happened in only a mater of months. Roderick Strong and his wife resigned from NXT, leaving some to wonder if he is headed to the main roster.

Cole and O’Reilly spent weeks building a feud that culminated in grand fashion. In the main event of Takeover Stand & Deliver, O’Reilly pinned Cole in an Unsanctioned Match.

The brutal 40 minute match was the last fans have seen of Cole. O’Reilly just returned to TV on Tuesday and seems to be eyeing NXT Champion Karrion Kross.

There is no word on what WWE has planned for Fish. At the end of everything, O’Reilly kept the door open for an Undisputed Era reunion.

“It does suck because this is the best thing that has ever happened in my career to be in this group with these guys,” said O’Reilly. “I have had the most fun and I’ve learned so much to become a better performer.”

“Just because we split now, it just means the eventual reunion will be an even bigger deal?”

SummerSlam Location

Following just over thirteen months, WWE had fans return. So far, that has only happened during both nights of WrestleMania 37.

With SummerSlam as the next big event, WWE will likely be bringing fans back. According to PWInsider, Texas and Phoenix, Arizona are the top candidates to host the show.

Both states have lacked rules for attendance, which means WWE can pack the venues.

Also, they are looking to possibly hold the event outside. Therefore, as seen with WrestleMania, that poses a threat with weather.

If plans fall through, WWE always has the ThunderDome. As of now, no date has been confirmed for the show that always runs in August.
