Rich Energy will once again by the official energy drink of the Professional Fighters League, the promotion announced.

The PFL 2021 season is set to kickoff Friday from Atlantic City with Anthony Pettis vs. Clay Collard in the main event. The entire season will air live on ESPN2 and ESPN+.

The PFL will introduce the Fighter Performance Rating presented by Rich Energy, which will measure the speed and force of punches, kicks and takedowns from the athletes. Coupled with Cagenomics technology, this will allow the promotion to provide fans a deeper understanding through fighter analytics and date.

“We’ve had a great experience working alongside our partners at Rich Energy to deliver MMA 2.0, and we’re thrilled to not only extend our relationship but to also collaborate on an innovative fan engagement product that will bring our fans closer to the action than ever before,” said PFL CEO, Peter Murray. “It’s a really exciting time for PFL as we get closer and closer to what is going to be an incredibly action-packed season.”

Plans are in place for Sugar Free Rich Energy products to be released alongside exclusive PFL branded Rich Energy Fighter 4-pack products.

“We are all about innovative and unique ways to further involve and engage with fans from around the world,” said Rich Energy USA CEO, Blake Farhoumand. “The PFL has reimagined the sport of MMA and as it continues to expand internationally – we are excited to be a part of the league and all of its offerings.”

The PFL 2021 season will continue through the next few months leading up to the crowning of six new champions, who will all receive $1 million.
