Kenny Florian

Kenny Florian, one of the more popular and well-known MMA personalities in the sport, has joined the Professional Fighters League.

Florian, a former UFC title challenger and member of The Ultimate Fighter, will call the 2021 action alongside Randy Couture and Sean O’Connell.

PFL events air live on the ESPN family of networks beginning with PFL 1 on April 23 featuring Anthony Pettis in the main event.

“We are very excited to add someone as knowledgeable and charismatic as Kenny to our booth calling all the action this season alongside Randy and Sean,” said PFL CEO, Peter Murray. “With his passion for the sport and experience inside the cage, Kenny will bring excitement and wisdom to every call to ensure our fans enjoy our made-for-TV events.”

Florian put together a record of 14-6 during his active days in MMA, including nine wins via submission. He was the runner-up on TUF 1 at middleweight and also had a successful career in Brazilian jiu-jitsu grappling.

Prior to joining the PFL, Florian worked on ESPN’s “MMA Live” program alongside Jon Anik and Franklin McNeill. He also called action for the sport.
