Jimmy Kimmel Has Way Too Much Fun Mocking Trump Wax Figure That Got Punched Out

Donald Trump may be out of office, but that doesn’t mean late night host Jimmy Kimmel isn’t still obsessively expressing hate for the former president on a nightly basis.

On Thursday night, Kimmel showed that his obsession with Trump is still going as strong as ever. He spent much of his opening monologue on his show mocking the fact that a wax figure of the former president got punched out this week.

Kimmel chats about the murder hornets, March Madness, President Biden, and starts in on Trump’s wax statue around the 6 minute mark. Take a look:

Trump Wax Figure Removed After Being Repeatedly Punched

Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks, a wax-museum offshoot of Madame Tussaud’s in San Antonio, Texas, was forced to remove a wax figure of Trump. Museum visitors kept punching it in the face.

Clay Stewart, regional manager for Ripley Entertainment, which owns the wax museum, said that guests “‘punched and scratched the figure, inflicting so much damage that management had it pulled from public view.”

“When it’s a highly political figure, attacks can be a problem,” he added.

If this happened to a wax figure of former President Barack Obama, this story would be treated with the utmost seriousness and would be used to show how “racist” Americans are.

Since it was a Trump figure that was treated this way, however, Kimmel had a field day with the story.

Kimmel Sounds Off

“Here’s a fun story involving our previous president,” Kimmel said with a huge smile on his face. A place called Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks in San Antonio had to remove its sculpture of Donald Trump because people kept punching it in the face. Every day, someone would punch the wax figure in the face.”

Kimmel loved the fact that it was Trump’s figure that was attacked despite the fact that it was located between figures of Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

“This should tell you something—look at the other two guys he’s posed with: Putin and Kim Jong-un. And the one getting punched in the face every day? Trump!” Kimmel exclaimed. “It’s our own guy. And what a likeness… why he has Heather Locklear’s hair, I don’t know.”

“Anyway, because of all the violent attacks, they had to take the statue down,” he continued. “That’s a shame. Why not just fill it with candy and give everyone a bag?

Kimmel Will Never Leave Trump Alone

Kimmel spent the past four years launching below-the-belt attacks on Trump and his family. And, given how much he despises the former president, you would think he’d be relieved at not having to talk about him any more now that he is out of office.

His monologue shows that Kimmel’s case of Trump derangement syndrome will likely be staying with him for life, regardless of whether or not the former president is in power.

As Trump himself would say: Sad!

James Conrad

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
