Meghan Markle and Prince Harry GoFundMe

One week after their explosive tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been hit with what has to be humiliating news.

It’s being reported that a GoFundMe page that was set up to pay their mortgage has failed miserably, raising only a pathetic $110.

Mortgage Fundraiser For Meghan And Harry Backfires

California-native Anastasia Hanson, 56, told The Sun that she felt sorry for the couple after seeing their interview despite the fact that they have multi-million dollar deals with Netflix and Spotify.

When Harry whined to Oprah about being “cut off” financially by the British royal family, this was enough to tug at Anastasia’s heartstrings.

“When they came to the USA, they were without jobs and with limited funds,” said Anastasia, who lives less than 30 minutes from the couple. “They’ve stated that they’ve had a very rough time, so this fundraiser is a way to give help, compassion, and love by paying their home loan in full.”

Anastasia kicked off her fundraiser by chipping in $5, while “A Supporter” gave $100 and “Anonymous” threw in another $5.

Nobody else felt the need to donate to Meghan and Harry, indicating that the masses disagree with Anastasia and don’t feel that the two need to be pitied.

Anastasia Asks People To Donate

“I am Anastasia Hanson of Ventura, California and I am raising funds to pay off the mortgage for the Montecito, California home of Harry and Meghan,” the page read.

“Were 2 million supporters to donate just $5 each, the Goal is met and the loan can be paid off,” it continued. “After their interview, I was moved with compassion to help get their home paid off. As they are now financially independent, this will help and be a loving gift.”

The page has since been shut down after garnering next to nothing for Harry and Meghan’s mortgage, with the link to it now saying “Campaign Not Found.’’

Shows Harry And Meghan Don’t Have Public Support

Of course, Harry and Meghan can pay their own bills.

They won’t be sad about the failure of this fundraiser in terms of need.

However, it’s got to be a slap in the face for two people who love to play the victim as much as they do that nobody else felt the need to reach out and support an effort to help them out.

During the interview, Harry and Meghan did everything they could to make the public feel sorry for them.

They claimed that they were victims of racism and that the duchess even felt suicidal as a royal.

Unfortunately for them, however, it seems that Anastasia may be one of the only people who actually bought their victim routine.
