Poirier and McGregor are going to battle in the headliner of UFC 257, which is going down on January 23 in Abu Dhabi.
The fighters fought for the first time way back in 2014, and McGregor quickly put Poirier away. Since then, McGregor has gone on to become one of the biggest names in combat sports, as he won both the UFC’s featherweight and lightweight belts.
Poirier has also established himself as a top-tier lightweight, by winning the interim title in 2019.
