Report: Conor McGregor Has Multi-Million Dollar Lawsuit Filed Against Him
Conor McGregor has been in the news, due to his upcoming, UFC 257 fight. But, now it's being reported the star's facing a massive lawsuit.
Conor McGregor has reportedly been hit with a multi-million dollar lawsuit, several days out from when he’s set to fight Dustin Poirier at UFC 257.

A woman has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the Irish star
Ireland’s Independent is reporting that a woman in that country has filed a multi-million dollar, injury lawsuit against McGregor. The alleged incident took place in 2018 and the suit has reportedly been filed by a woman who has known McGregor for quite some time.
A second smaller claim has also been filed against McGregor by the woman’s mother.
Due to Irish laws, however, no details regarding allegations can be disclosed.
The report notes that McGregor has denied the allegations and the alleged incident was previously the subject of an extensive investigation by An Garda Síochána. The Office of the Director of Public Prosecution decided no charges should be brought.
McGregor’s spokesperson issues a statement
The report also includes the following statement from McGregor’s spokesperson Karen J Kessler:
“After an exhaustive investigation conducted by the Gardaí which, in addition to interviews of the plaintiff, included interviewing numerous sources, obtaining witnesses’ statements, examining closed circuit footage and the cooperation of Conor McGregor, these allegations were categorically rejected.
“The plaintiff knows the facts contradict the assertions in this lawsuit. Mr McGregor will dispute any claims and is confident that justice will prevail.”

The former UFC champ has made headlines before on account of run-ins with authorities. In 2018, McGregor was arrested in Brooklyn, after he threw a dolly at a bus filled with fighters, prior to UFC 223.
Then in 2019, McGregor was arrested when he took the cellphone of a man in Florida. Later that year, McGregor was also charged for punching an elderly man in a Dublin pub.
This past September, McGregor was questioned by authorities in Corsia, in connection to an allegation of attempted sexual assault. McGregor’s team vehemently denied the allegations.
