A Minnesota family attempting to spread some Christmas cheer got an anonymous letter from a Grinch attempting to shame them into removing their Christmas lights display under the guise of social equity. The scolding letter is so over-the-top that it even drew the attention of one retired NFL player!
Someone in St. Anthony, Minnesota took it upon themselves to become the no fun police. We all know the drill from the left wingers who demand submission and call everything bigoted.
Even cheerful Christmas lights are classist and ‘insensitive’ in St. Anthony, Minnesota.
It’s hard to imagine someone being upset by a modest display of Christmas lights, but this certainly “triggered” someone who cannot handle that fact that some people celebrate the birth of Jesus.

The letter is so so flooded with woke language that if it wasn’t such a rude way of handling things, it would be laughable.
This letter appears to be written by someone who could be the love child of the Grinch and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
“I couldn’t help but notice your Christmas lights display. During these unprecedented times we have all experienced challenges which casual words don’t describe what we are feeling. The idea of twinkling, colorful lights are a reminder of divisions that continue to run through our society, a reminder of systemic biases against our neighbors who don’t celebrate Christmas or who can’t afford to put up lights of their own,” the anonymous letter reads.
“We must do work of educating ourselves about the harmful impact an outward facing display like yours can have,” the letter continues. “I challenge you to respect the dignity of all people, while striving to learn from differences, ideas, and opinions of our neighbors. We must come together collectively and challenge these institutional inequities; St. Anthony is a community welcoming of all people and we must demand better for ourselves.”
Crime Watch Minneapolis tweeted the letter along with with a picture of the “offensive” display of twinkly bright Christmas lights.
This letter drew quite a reaction on Twitter.
Most people replying stated they would add to the display to spread even more Christmas cheer to the dismay of the frustrated anonymous letter writer.

Former Baltimore Ravens quarterback Derek Anderson was astounded at the letter.
“Saw this coming a long time ago. “If I can’t have it nobody can” or “ if they have it we all deserve it” that’s not life,” he tweeted.
It’s a sad reflection on society when someone gripes about Christmas lights being a symbol of “systemic biases.”
