Queen Harry Meghan Royal Titles Remembrance Day

Royal experts are saying the Queen’s decision to refuse Harry and Meghan’s Remembrance Day request just as calls are growing for her to strip their royal titles could be a bad omen for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

According to The Express, Buckingham Palace immediately shut down Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s request that a wreath be laid down in the Duke of Sussex’s name at the London Cenotaph on Remembrance Day. Royal experts see this as a clear signal that Queen Elizabeth has had it her grandson and his wife’s antics.

Moreover, the Queen’s refusal comes amid growing calls for her to strip the couple of their royal titles following their Remembrance Day display in Los Angeles.

Queen Denies Harry And Meghan’s Remembrance Day Request

Harry was said to be “deeply saddened” when his request was shut down by the palace because he stepped down from senior royal duties earlier this year to move across the world to Los Angeles, California with Meghan.

Royal experts say the way that Harry’s Remembrance Day wreath request being abruptly denied indicates that the Queen may have had enough of him and his wife.

“They’ve detached themselves from the royal family and in the times we’ve spoken about them since they’ve been in LA, there have been some small requests they’ve asked for,” E! News host Morgan Stewart told the U.K. Express.

“It’s been sort of like, ‘OK, we can accommodate, we’re figuring our way.’ This was the first blatant… this is the line,” she added.

“You’re not senior members of the royal family anymore. Enough,” Stewart continued.

“We’re not catering for you, you live in Santa Barbara, you’ve got rich, famous neighbors, you want to focus on other things. We’re not doing things on behalf of you. You either show up like you’re supposed to do, or you’re not a part of it.”

Other Royal Expert Agrees

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams defended the palace’s decision, saying that Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down from the Royal Family has consequences that include them no longer having certain “privileges.”

“Harry and Meghan’s decision to forge a new future has meant changes which they were prepared to embrace, and this means sacrifices,” he said.

The News reported that Harry’s choices have caused the public to turn on him once again, with social media users saying that it’s time for the Queen to strip him and Meghan of their royal titles once and for all.

Calls Mount For Queen To Strip Harry And Meghan Of Their Titles

After the Queen denied their Remembrance Day request, Harry and Meghan were photographed observing the holiday by visiting the Los Angeles National Cemetery.

Some people, however, did not find the display touching. Rather, they saw the opportune stateside photographs as self-serving.

While Piers Morgan lead the charge in calling the couple out, others took the opportunity to suggest it’s time once and for all that Queen Elizabeth take action.

“Their Royal titles and privileges are in the gift of the Monarch,” one fan wrote. “The Queen gave them their titles and the Queen can remove them. The 12 month ‘probation period’ the Queen gave them is almost complete.”

“Time for the Queen to remove titles from ‘Hapless Harry’ and ‘MeAgain’, and to remove Hapless and his descendants from the line of succession,” another added.

“Yes live the way they want to live is fine,” someone else wrote. “But they are not royals anymore so stop pretending you still are. You are either in or out. Queen needs to remove all titles so they are just Harry and gold digger.”

Harry and Meghan can sulk and play the victim all they want to, but they knew there would be consequences when they stepped down as senior royals.

I’m sure all the Queen wanted was for her grandson to show up and do the wreath laying honor in person..

If they wanted to continue participating in royal activities such as this one, they should have stayed in the United Kingdom instead of going Hollywood.

Only the Queen can decide when it’s time to strip Harry and Meghan of their titles, and  maybe it’s time she remind them that they can’t have their cake and eat it too.
