The UFC, Carlos Condit and Matt Brown are clearly keen on seeing the welterweights fights, as the promotion has reportedly booked the match-up…for a third time.

Brown versus Condit is reportedly set

The longtime contenders and fan favorites were originally booked to fight in 2013. But, Brown was forced out of the contest due to an injury. The UFC re-booked the fight several years late in 2018, but once again, Brown had to withdraw as a result of an injury.

Well, now MMA Fighting is reporting that multiple sources say Brown and Condit have verbally agreed to fight on January 30th. In a follow-up report by MMA Junkie, sources confirmed the fight is a go.

Brown (22-17) hasn’t fought since May when he was stopped by Miguel Baeza. The 39-year-old has gone 2-3 in his last five bouts.

Condit (31-13), meanwhile, is coming off a decision win over Court McGee last month. The 36-year-old had lost six straight prior to the win.

Hopefully the fighters make it to January 30th healthy and we finally get to see these two throwhands.

January 30th card

The upcoming UFC card has yet to officially receive a venue and location. But, bouts that are expected for the event include the following (so far).

Viviane Araujo vs. Roxanne Modafferi
Vinicius Moreira vs. Ike Villanueva
Ode Osbourne vs. Jerome Rivera
Zarrukh Adashev vs. Jeffrey Molina
Matt Brown vs. Carlos Condit
