Piers Morgan Torches Meghan Markle And Prince Harry After Their Latest Move

British television personality Piers Morgan shared his disdain for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry once again after their latest outing made the rounds on social media.

Sunday was Remembrance Day in the United Kingdom. It’s a day to remember the British servicemen and women who have given their lives for their country. Photos were released yesterday showing Meghan and Harry observing the holiday by visiting the Los Angeles National Cemetery.

Piers Morgan Attacks Royals

This did not sit well with Piers. He seemed to think that Meghan and Harry were once again simply trying to get attention for themselves.

“My god, they’ve even turned Remembrance Sunday into another self-publicity stunt. Have they no shame?” Morgan tweeted alongside the photos.

He later added in a follow-up tweet, “Just outrageous – treating Remembrance Sunday like a PR opportunity, & trying to steal headlines from the real royals doing their duty back home.”

Harry and Meghan, however, stood by their actions.

“It was important to the Duke and Duchess to be able to personally recognize Remembrance in their own way, to pay tribute to those who have served and to those who gave their lives,” their spokesperson said in a statement, according to the U.K. Express.

“The couple laid flowers that the Duchess picked from their garden at the gravesites of two Commonwealth soldiers, one who had served in the Royal Australian Air Force and one from the Royal Canadian Artillery,” the spokesperson added.

Piers Fires Back At His Critics

Piers has been a frequent critic of Harry and Meghan’s. However, he was hit with backlash on social media for his latest remarks. But, he refused to back down and instead fired back at some of the trolls who were taking the royals’ side.

When one person told him to “leave them alone,” he responded by saying, “If they wanted to be’ ‘left alone’, they wouldn’t do PR stunts every day to get media attention.”

When another social media user asked if Piers would praise Prince William and Kate Middleton for similar photos, he stated, “Yes, they do their duty. The Sussexes don’t.”

Piers Morgan is one of the few members of the media who doesn’t completely fawn over Meghan and Harry and their “woke” liberal views.

In his new book “Wake Up,” Piers went so far as to blast the couple for being “self-obsessed.”

“It’s sadly, pathetically clear that all the Sussexes care about, like so many self-obsessed privileged wokies, is themselves,” Morgan wrote. “They live in a me-me-me bubble that doesn’t allow for anything more important, like the worst-global pandemic in a century, to interfere with their self-promotion.”

Piers Morgan is right that if Meghan and Harry really want privacy as badly as they claim to, all they need to do is stop drawing attention to themselves with their publicity stunts.

Honoring veterans by visiting a cemetery is a noble thing to do, but you don’t need to bring a photographer to capture the moment on camera. That makes it look like you’re just trying to earn points and pats on the back…
