‘Home Alone 2’ Director Accuses Trump Of Bullying His Way Into The Movie
The director of "Home Alone 2" has spoken out to accuse President Donald Trump of bullying his way into the movie.
To mark the thirtieth anniversary of the beloved Christmas movie classic Home Alone, director Chris Columbus decided to get political with a claim that President Donald Trump “bullied” his way into the film’s 1992 sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York.
Home Alone 2 Director Slams Trump
Trump has a cameo in the movie when Macauley Culkin’s character of Kevin bumps into the mogul while wandering through the lobby of the Plaza Hotel in New York.

While talking about Trump’s appearance to Insider, the Home Alone 2 director made sure to take a dig at the president by twisting what appears to be a cute story into one in which the Republican is vilified as a bully:
Like most locations in New York City, you just pay a fee and you are allowed to shoot in that location. We approached The Plaza Hotel, which Trump owned at the time, because we wanted to shoot in the lobby. We couldn’t rebuild The Plaza on a soundstage.
Trump said OK. We paid the fee, but he also said, “The only way you can use the Plaza is if I’m in the movie.” So we agreed to put him in the movie, and when we screened it for the first time the oddest thing happened: People cheered when Trump showed up on-screen. So I said to my editor, “Leave him in the movie. It’s a moment for the audience.” But he did bully his way into the movie.
Really? That’s “bullying?!”

The Trump Derangement Syndrome Of Hollywood
It’s also quite telling that Columbus describe the audience cheering for Trump as “odd”.
Liberal celebrities just can’t seem to wrap their heads around the idea that anyone would like or support Trump.
In this case, the director is clearly turning something that the audience saw as good into something bad because of his own feelings towards Trump.
This just goes to show that the radical liberals of Hollywood will twist any story about Trump to make him look like an evil person.
The fact that Trump negotiated a cute little cameo for himself in the Home Alone 2 movie does not make him a bully. Not to mention to the fact his cameo was popular with audiences and thus good for the movie!
This also shows why so many conservatives have lost all faith in Hollywood, as it is full of people with stage 5 Trump derangement syndrome.
Their hatred for Trump has become an all-consuming obsession for the liberal entertainment world, and it’s made it impossible to take anything they have to say about the president seriously.
No Wonder Liberals Find Trump’s Cameo ‘Triggering’
Regardless of how Donald Trump ended up in Home Alone 2, we still think it’s one of the most adorable parts of the movie.
It allows us to see a fun side of Trump that the media and entertainment world rarely allow us to see.
Perhaps that’s why Columbus and his fellow liberals find it to be so “triggering” to this day.
