Hallmark favorite Candace Cameron Bure just caught fans off guard with a tribute to her former “Fuller House” costar Lori Loughlin on the show’s anniversary.

Loughlin was a true American sweetheart as the former star of Hallmark Channel’s “When Calls The Heart” and 1990’s sitcom “Full House”. Her stunning fall from grace rocked households across America as her Federal criminal case dominated headlines.

The scandal also resulted in her abrupt dismissal from both “When Calls The Heart” and the “Full House” Netflix spinoff “Fuller House”.

Candace Cameron Bure Reveals Gift From Lori Loughlin

This past week marked the one year anniversary of the final day of filming on the last season of “Fuller House.”

To mark the occasion, Candace Cameron Bure shared a series of throwback photos from the set to her Instagram page, and one of them appeared to show a note from Lori Loughlin.

“Dearest Candace, Congratulations on a great run! Have a fabulous last week. I love you and miss you,” the note read.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Bure confirmed that Loughlin had indeed sent this note.

“Yes, it was a note from her,” Bure said. “She sent me flowers and I believe a few other people some flowers. It was so nice to feel and have her presence there at the show.”

“Yeah, it was really special,” she added.

Andrea Barber Honors Loughlin

Candace Cameron Bure isn’t the only costar to show support for Lori Loughlin since her fall from grace.

Andrea Barber, who played Kimmy Gibler on “Fuller House,” paid tribute to Loughlin last year.

In an interview with People Magazine, she described Loughlin as “one of the sweetest, kindest and most down-to-earth people I’ve ever met,” adding that she was dearly missed during the filming of the finale of the show.

“It was really sad, and we could feel her absence,” she said at the time. “It just felt like there was a hole in the whole season but also in that final episode. She should’ve been there, and I’m sorry that she wasn’t.”

Update On Lori Loughlin’s Prison Life

56-year-old Loughlin is currently serving a two month prison sentence for her role in the college admissions scandal.

Loughlin began her prison sentence on October 30, months after she pled guilty to charges related to her paying $500,000 in bribe money to have her two daughters admitted to the University of Southern California as members of the crew team, even though neither girl had ever rowed before.

Last week, a source gave an update on how Loughlin is doing in prison.

“Lori has been doing OK and has made several friends,” the insider told US Weekly. “She hangs out with a group and keeps to herself.”

The source added that Loughlin, 56, does “attend church services and has been praying a lot.”

Loughlin is reportedly holding out hope that she will only be missing one holiday with family.

“Thanksgiving is going to be really hard, but she will be home for Christmas,” the source said.

Once she’s released, it remains to be seen whether Lori Loughlin will ever be able to resume her acting career again.
