Khabib Nurmagomedov

In the last couple of years, Khabib Nurmagomedov’s fame has reached new heights, as has Justin Gaethje’s, and that’s reflected in how many views the official trailer for UFC 254 has already hit.

Khabib – Gaethje trailer already has over 2.3 million views

Nurmagomedov and Gaethje have been booked for battle on October 24th, after the latter stopped Tony Ferguson this past May to win the interim title.

Well, on September 30th, the UFC posted the official trailer for the fight on the promotion’s YouTube page. As this is being written, just over one week later, the trailer already has nearly 2.4 million views.

Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean that UFC 254 is going to rake in pay-per-view buys. But it’s certainly a strong indication the upcoming card is going to sell very well.

Further, it’s more evidence to the fact Khabib has become a massive star. For years, the lightweight champ has been a big name, within the MMA world.

But, on account of his victory over Conor McGregor in 2018, and as he continues to be one of the greatest fighters on the planet, his platform has grown exponentially.

Of course, Gaethje’s stock and profile has also gone way up, due to his recent, awe-inspiring run.
