WWE Draft Returns With Two-Night Event Determining Superstar Brands

WWE made an official announcement revealing the return of the WWE draft. But what does the 2020 WWE draft have in store for us?

Significant Changes To Raw And SmackDown

The return of the WWE draft return could indicate some serious changes to the Raw and SmackDown roster. Of course, it could also be a little trick for more ratings.

But let’s say there will be massive changes to Raw and SmackDown, where would everyone go?

For the Raw and SmackDown draft, there are a couple of people I would love to see on different brands. Miz and Morrison I would prefer on Raw, as I think their talent is currently being wasted on SmackDown.

Roman Reigns could potentially make a move to Raw, considering his new alliance with Paul Heyman. It could also be good to move Seth to SmackDown, as he could enter some new feuds.

Of course, there are probably a dozen switches we would like to do for the Raw and SmackDown draft. However, these are not the only brands to think about.

NXT Call-Ups

The WWE draft is also the perfect time for some NXT call-ups. However, the WWE has to be careful not to oversaturate their main roster.

I don’t believe there will be any NXT women going to the main roster. After all, the WWE doesn’t know what to do with the women who already are on the main brand.

A number of NXT women were called up so far, including Shayna Baszler and Bianca Belair. Needless to say, WWE did not have a clue as to what to do with them.

At this point in time, male wrestler call-ups are far more likely. One of the rumored names to be called up is Adam Cole.

Of course, Adam Cole has been the favorite for a call-up these past two years. Despite the rumors, his call-up has not happened.

With Retribution being the main faction featured on the main roster, it is unlikely WWE will call The Undisputed Era.

Some male call-ups would not be the worst thing in the world. Unfortunately, the main roster has been a little lackluster in singles competition.

That being said, Keith Lee is a recent NXT call-up. Up until now, he has been featured rather prominently.

But who knows what the WWE is thinking at this point in time? Over the past couple of months, there have been a few call-up already.

It would be interesting however, if NXT was involved in the draft. In other words, if main roster stars could be drafted to NXT.

NXT has lost a lot of stars to the main roster. How great would it be if NXT could take some stars back, ideally those that could use a little more exposure?

Dates For The 2020 WWE Draft

The 2020 draft starts officially on the 9th of October during SmackDown Live. The second day of the draft will take place on the 12th of October.

And WWE is hyping up the upcoming event like no other. They even released a nice promo for it.

Wait and see…
