
The fighters have hit the scales in advance of Saturday’s UFC Vegas 6 event, and the card remains intact.
Derrick Lewis versus Aleksei Oleinik
In tomorrow’s headliner, Derrick Lewis will take on fellow heavyweight contender, Aleksei Oleinik.
Lewis (23-7) came in at 265 pounds for the scrap, while the Oleinik (59-13-1) was nearly 40 pounds lighter at 227.
The 35-year-old Lewis is looking to move his winning streak to three, as he’s coming off wins over Ili Latifi and Blagoy Ivanov.
The 43-year-old Oleinik has also won two straight, as the feared submission artist has defeated Maurice Greene and Fabricio Werdum in his last two bouts.
