Chris Weidman has incurred plenty of setbacks in more recent years. But, none of that changes the fact the former middleweight champ has scored some vicious, and historic, finishes during his career.

Weidman’s top finishes

The New York fighter will return to the cage today at UFC Vegas 6, as Weidman is scheduled to face Omari Akhmedov in the co-headliner.

In advance of the fight, the UFC shared out the video below, which showcases the 36 year-old’s best finishes to date.

Yes, of course, Weidman’s 2013 knockout of Anderson Silva is included. Weidman ended the storied reign of the legend at UFC 162, by making Silva pay for some taunting in round two, big time.

Silva had held the middleweight title for a record 2,457 days.

More recently, Weidman has struggled in the cage, as the decorated wrestler has been stopped in five of his last six fight. This is why the former champ understands he really, really needs a win today.
