Derrick Lewis survived a submission scare from Aleksei Oleinik early on, and finish the rugged vet in round two.

Round one

Lewis came charging out, fired a big body kick and fired some huge punches. Lewis clinched up and tossed Oleinik to the floor. Lewis worked from halfguard for a couple of minutes, but in an ensuing sramble, Oleinik took the top position.

Lewis momentarily moved to the top again, but Oleinik reversed the position and started working the scarf hold. Eventually, Oleinik abandoned the position, before the horn went.

Round two

Lewis sent Oleinik to the deck with a booming right moments into round two, and after landing a flurry of shots from above, the fight was stopped. Wow. Another highlight reel finish for the feared slugger.

With the win, Lewis has recorded the most KO/TKO wins in UFC heavyweight history.
